Mickey’s Mile started two years ago when Camille Vassari of Fish Kill, N.Y., lost her dog, Mickey, to cancer. Each year Camille organizes a dog walk in honor of Mickey to raise funds for canine cancer research. More than 150 dogs participated in this year’s event which raised approximately $4,000.
